    S.M.A.R.T.I.E.S Goal Setting
    Example: I want to get fit is a wish. I want to be able to run 5 km in under 20 minutes is a specific goal.
    Goals should have a time line. eg. I want to be able to run 5 km in under 20 minutes by August 18th 2014.
    You need to be able to achieve the goal. Running 10 km in under 20 minutes might be too much, but you can probably run 5 km which makes it just right!
    What would you like to buy or do once you have achieved your goal? Choose something you will really enjoy.
    Don’t forget to monitor your goals- you can do this daily, weekly or monthly depending on the goal. You might need to check more often the closer you get to your deadline.
    In your face
    Your goals should always be in front of you- in your diary, on a list on your bedroom wall or any other location where you will see them often.
    How are you going with your goals? Are you close to achieving them or further away? Do your goals need a “tune up”?
    Break down your goals into small steps. You can only eat an elephant one bite at a time 🙂
