  1. Tell what you like or dislike about one of the characters.
  2. Rewrite the ending differently: ie sadly, realistically, outrageously,
  3. Imagine what you would have done when……
  4. Rewrite part of the story as a news report. Set it out as you would see in a newspaper.
  5. Write a different story around on of the characters
  6. Write a letter to the author expressing your views about the book

  14. Make a cartoon strip about the main episodes of the book
  15. Draw a map of the main location of the book
  16. Make a mind map to explain how all the characters fit into the story

  21. Research to find out something about a part of the book
  22. Work out some interview questions to ask a character during a T.V. interview
  23. Draw the characters in the clothes that they would wear during your favourite part of the story
