Maths – fraction chart

May 3, 2018 by Mr Richo

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%.09,.50,.1,.66,1/2,1/5,3/4/2/7%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

Step 1: You will need to use the fraction chart that you made last week.

You will also need your grid book to complete the task. Each task is a little more challenging. You might not be able to complete all 4.

Set out your work neatly, using lots of space. Think about how you will set out each task. (Some may want to use a table for the first activity but it is not compulsory.

  1. Percentage. Write all the percentage cards in order from smallest to largest.
  2. Now write the matching fractions and decimals for the following percentages.

A. 50%, 25%, 20%, 10%

B.33%, 60%, 40%, 70%

C. 150%, 250%, 125%, 175%

D. These are harder because they are not on your chart.

1%, 99%, 35%, .01%

Once you have reached your level, hand in your grid book for checking.

Open Mathletics on your iPad. Complete tasks related to the fraction, decimal and percentage assignment you just completed.
